I loved my stay at Kaanapali beach hotel. Everything is so convenient and the beach was gorgeous! It's so close to black rock beach where it's to go snorkeling at. Their tiki bar is excellent as well. Love the drink where you drink it out is a pineapple. Would definitely book here again
The room was beautiful, beds were so comfy. Loved the full kitchen so we could cook some meals in our condo. The staff helped with all of our needs. We even received a huge gift basket with fresh fruit & snacks (the kids devoured it all). Dukes restaurant was so close & great for convenient & delicious ...
We arrived for 8 nights last Friday, we were greeted with wonderful Valet service and a Lei greeting. I have stayed at hotels all over Maui, including the Ritz in Kapalua and the Four Seasons in Wailea, but this was the first trip for my granddaughters so I brought them to the best location in Hawaii, ...
Hotel is right on the beautiful white sandy beach that stretches for miles. Excellent for people who love to walk or jog along the beach. Great place for swimming and snorkeling. Amazing and unforgettable sunsets.
Right on the beach. 20min drive to Makena Beach or Lahaina. 15min drive to airport. Incredible view (PH17), washer/dryer, dishwasher, full kitchen. Great place to stay, highly recommended.
Good hotel and facilities in a convenient location with shopping nearby and lovely beach across the road. The poolside menu is great, especially the delicious quinoa and goats cheese salad. The location is a good base for exploring the island. The hotel provides a prompt and friendly shuttle bus ...
Hotel is good for short stays e.g. night of arrival/night before departure from Maui. Room was clean but hotel buildings themselves are aged. Outdoor areas are very well maintained with nice pool.
Maui Island’s beach hotels mainly offer high-end four- and five-star accommodation, though you can find a good choice of reasonably priced three-star places to stay by the beach, too.
Take a swim in oceanfront pools while enjoying stunning panoramic beach views before heading for dinner in an outdoor restaurant. And with the beach as your backdrop, you can enjoy everything from volleyball and canoe excursions to nightly luau parties and Hawaiian spas. In the evenings, relax on private lanais or in front of flat-panel TVs.
Beach hotels in Kapalua place you just steps from fashion boutiques, award-winning restaurants and two world-famous golf courses. The conditions at Kapalua’s beaches makes them the perfect spot for sunbathing, swimming and surfing.
Stay in south Maui’s premier resort area of Wailea for its gorgeous sandy beaches, popular golf courses and designer shopping at the Shops at Wailea. And for budget-friendly beach hotels near the luxury of Wailea, search for a beach hotel in Kihei, just a 12-minute drive up the coast.
Overlooking Kaanapali Beach, Whalers Village is a large shopping mall with a popular whaling museum. Learn about Hawaiian culture in the complex by taking part in a daily lei-making class or checking out the evening hula shows.
Kapalua’s renowned D.T. Fleming Beach Park is a long sandy beach popular with joggers and evening strollers. Trees line most of the beach providing plenty of shaded spots for bathers or if you fancy just watching the experienced surfers and boogie boarders take on the beach’s strong waves.
Just seven miles down the coast from Kapalua, Kaanapali Beach is action packed. Restaurants and bars line the beach, and Whalers Village shopping complex backs on to the sands. This is a popular spot for wind surfers and paddle boarders, and the lava outcrops make great conditions for snorkelling.
For an excellent way to end any day before returning to your beach hotel on Maui Island, head to a beach to watch the sunset. On Sundays, Little Beach, normally a nudist beach, has a sunset party with fire walkers and fire twirlers, which is quite the spectacle.
