This condo was good in that it was in a good location close to beaches, shopping, dining. It is spacious & light with a golf course & partial ocean view. It is very dated and worn. The kitchen is poorly equipped. Very nice housekeepers come in 2x per week.
Nice hotel but had to wash own towels daily in the washing machine. Having a kitchen, washing machine and dryer was helpful. Spacious room was a big plus too.
The hotel, grounds, entire property... were all beautiful! Warm, welcoming, attentive & kind staff, attuned to every need & always ready to assist! The food was delicious, cocktails & bartender were fabulous! Complimentary photo session was priceless, photos we will treasure for a lifetime!
good experience, hap hazard in getting around (several different levels which takes a few elevators),very dated hotel. Pool are congested, not enough lounge chairs with cushions.Pool staff not policing the saved lounge chairs in pool area (I think 30 to 60 minute limit of being saved).
We stayed at the Marriott because the rest of the family was at the Grand Wailea next door and they were already full. Yet the consensus was that our hotel was better, even though it was significantly less expensive. ONLY disappointment was their best restaurant. Good food but the service was good ...

Golf is one of the most popular activities on Maui Island, and many hotels and resorts have their own course or putting greens or are just steps away from some of Maui’s prestigious golf clubs. Located in a number of Maui’s popular resorts, golf hotels range from affordable three-star accommodation to expansive five-star golf resorts.
Aside from the golfing, Maui’s golf hotels have plenty else to get involved with, from practicing your serve on the tennis courts or ping-pong tables to enjoying the sun in outdoor swimming pools or staying in shape in 24-hour fitness centres.
Many of Maui’s golf condos and villas come with spacious kitchens equipped with refrigerators, microwaves and stoves, giving you a home-from-home feel. So after a day on the green, relax on your lanai or catch up with the news on satellite TV.
The majority of Maui Island’s golf hotels line the south-western coast, especially in the premium resort area of Wailea. Wailea is a hotbed of designer shopping, white beaches and gourmet restaurants. Wailea Golf Club has world-class greens to tee off from, overlooking the ocean.
Pick a golf hotel in Kaanapali to be just steps from the fantastic surf on Maui Island’s north-western coast. Spend the evenings watching the diving ceremony at Black Rock or enjoying a Polynesian dance performance at Whalers Village.
Maui Island’s two best golf courses are in Kapalua, where you can practice your swing in the island’s once-volcanic landscape. Follow in the footsteps of numerous professional golfers at the Bay and Plantation Courses, also home to the annual PGA Tour Tournament of Champions.
After a game of golf, head down to the beach to make the most of Maui Island’s fantastic coastline. The majority of beaches along the western and southern coast are perfect for snorkelling and scuba diving while Lahaina and Kaanapali offer the best conditions for surf lessons.
