It was dark, the windows had piles of spiders outside them, so although it was quite hot in the room we were NOT opening the windows - need screens!! The bathroom was a ‘step up’ which was a bit awkward in the middle of the night, and the TV was very small. Nowhere to sit in the room comfortably to watch TV - only on the bed, wedged up with pillows. Not so comfy. The carpets were dirty, the hallways needed a fresh coat of paint, there were plastic plants all over, and flashing disco lights on the ceiling of the lobby area. They did offer a pre-dinner drink, which was nice, but because the hotel did not seem clean, we chose not to eat dinner there. The breakfast buffet was very lacklustre - there was a lot of variety but it was not great quality. We tasted many things they offered, but in the end just stuck to the yogurt and canned fruit in a bowl. They do need to up their game. There was so much chlorine in the sheets that my skin and eyes were burning, and we had to open the windows. The staff is EXCELLENT. Service is EXELLENT I have no complaints about the service. My friend and I shared a room with two beds, but there was only one night near my friend's bed, so I had nowhere to place my things. The room could use another small table.
