Top Mary and Leigh Block Museum of Art Hotel Reviews
Holiday Inn Chicago North-Evanston by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the location. Only caveat is $18 per night for parking"
"First off, when you get there, there’s just so much appeal. It’s a cute little hotel in an older building and fits in with the vibe and area of Evanston. When we got in, we were greeted by the nicest front desk lady (sorry, I forget her name). Check in was easy and smooth. Next, she tells us that she left a gift in our room (exciting!). The inside was just as cute and on theme as the outside. Definitely gave 50s/60s college vibes. Same with the room. Our keycards were cute little student IDs, which I thought was a nice touch. The gift that we received was a goodie bag with snacks and candy and beverages and a canvas bag. It was so cute! Overall, I loved the hotel and enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was tricky was parking. There’s only 2 hour parking around the hotel so if you were to leave your car there, it would probably get ticketed so they told us we had to move ours every 2 hours but we were gone most of the day in it anyways. This only applies for certain times throughout the day. "
"Hotel is beautiful and all of the staff is amazing. Only annoying thing is no free parking. Other than that amazing stay and happy we chose this hotel!"
Vintage City Chic: The Artist's Haven. 5 Blocks from Lake Michigan!
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in the Artist’s Haven! The location is outstanding. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood yet within walking distance of public transportation and a variety of restaurants. Most importantly, after a full day in Chicago, the apartment was a lovely place to return to rest and relax. The hosts are very responsive. We would definitely stay here again. "
