"Friendly and efficient check-in, which is always a good start. This was my second stay at the hotel this month and I would stay again. Very clean and comfortable room, no room for any complaint there.
However, the dining/lounge area does let it down somewhat.
The atmosphere is distinctly lacking in ambience, with too few comfortable seats, and it feels as though guests aren't particularly encouraged to linger and relax. The food is perfectly acceptable, but overpriced for what it is.
The waiting staff were very friendly at breakfast and in the evening. The evening team worked very well together and very pleasant despite being run off their feet, credos to them.
One thing that left a slightly sour note was the payment process. When paying by card at the table, I was given a total amount, only to discover after payment that a service charge had been added. It felt a little sneaky and would have been better highlighted by being given a copy of the bill before payment was taken.
Overall, a convenient hotel with friendly staff throughout the hotel, and a great location for the airport, but I'll make a point of dining elsewhere before arriving next time."
