We really enjoyed our stay at the lion. Location to Bicester was perfect. Room was exactly what we booked . Dinner was excellent … that burger was first class & the crumble was awesome. Class venue .

Lovely hotel in a quiet location but loads of things to do nearby from Oxford to Bicester Village and the Cotswolds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was the standout with great menu, quality and presentation. Would highly recommend

Nice hotel and had a lovely meal in restaurant. It was a bit noisy due to private party but that’s our issue due to going to sleep early! Good breakfast too.

We had a lovely one-night stay at House 41 while visiting Aylesbury Theatre. The room was spotless, warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax after our evening out. Helen, the owner, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and the perfect start to the day. This stay was just for overnight. The room was clean and very comfortable, and there was an available parking place in the courtyard. The Villiers staff couldn't have been kinder. Holly from Reception took me to my room and explained the necessary details required for my stay. At breakfast Jackie insisted that I have everything brought to me as she had spotted my walking difficulties. Because all other guests finished in the breakfast room I had the bonus of interesting conversation with her...

Anniversary weekend. Very nice hotel with character and good service - just what we were looking for. The room was super, the hotel serve fantastic afternoon tea and we loved the quiet library and the little sun-trap on the library terrace. Would have liked fluffy bathrobes, but can't think of anything else to improve. Be warned: - The bed was hard (which we like/prefer) but large and comfortable. Just back from a few days staying at the De Vere, Sandford on Thames. Excellent hotel, comfy deluxe double, delicious breakfast with great choice of food. Helpful staff on reception suggested taking the bus, from just outside the hotel, in to Oxford. 15 mins and we were in the heart of the city. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The Malmaison oxford is so far one of our best stays we have had in the uk! The hotel is a stunning renovation from a prison to a hotel that my now fiance just loved. The interior is stunning and classy with such helpful staff that took our car and parked it when we arrived, making us feel like Royalty. The Junior suite was breath taking with so much space, large bed, large tv, comfy and stylish seating and a large double shower to top it off. although we didn't eat in the hotel we did visit...
