We had a lovely one-night stay at House 41 while visiting Aylesbury Theatre. The room was spotless, warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax after our evening out. The weather was extremely hot. Ridiculously hot. I think it was the hottest day in Oxfordshire for about thirty years, and it was more-or-less impossible to get the temperature in the room down to something reasonable. But with that sole exception, everything about the hotel was really very good indeed, and I would happily go there again. In fact we are considering going down there sometime cooler for a naughty weekend, maybe in the autumn when it's cooler.
