"We had an 'accessible' room which was spacious and well equipped. The premium rooms were much smaller and would have felt a bit cramped.
Nice swimming pool but, typically, the hot tub and the steam room weren't operational.
Breakfast was good value and excellent quality.
Staff were helpful and very friendly.
Some annoying noise at night - people talking in corridor, dog yapping, coach idling outside at 7.15am - but that's human beings for you."
"Staff at reception pleasant enough. Could be a great place .. very big ! And possibly in process of renovation ? Not quite as pictures suggest sadly. Just not as clean as it really could be . Also tv in our room very poor and only couple of channels worked .didnt use it enough to worry thankfully, despite staying 2 nights . Bed seemed clean enough just general room/ shower cleanliness ."

"Hotel stay was great, room was big enough for my family of 5 however was meant to be a double bed and 2 singles but one of them was a pullout matress with no sheets or anything so couldn’t use it.
No soap in bathroom either
But great location plenty of food and supermarket, petrol nearby and 8 mins from the pier.
Breakfast really bad I would avoid going at all waited around 30 mins to take order and when it came was not good couldn’t eat it. Also the hygiene wasn’t great as saw staff putting out the croissants with her fingers no gloves etc.
But hotel stay was better than expected.
Thankyou!"
"The Mill Hotel is in an excellent position, overlooking the mill pond and adjoining common. There is ample parking nearby and it is just a short walk into the lovely town of Sudbury. There is an attractive restaurant and bar, with feature water wheel, and the food was good. The rooms were well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Due to the historic age of the hotel, there's no lift, which would have caused me problems if my room had been on an upper floor."
