Excellent rural area but well connected by an hourly bus to Lake Titisee. Other services available if required Hotel is only a 20 minute mostly downhill walk to Lake Titisee but steep uphill back. Excellent hotel & will go back, staff are all friendly & helpful, had a superior room which is better than the pictures show but chose to down grade to a standard room with a balcony which is also better than the pictures show & very comfortable, balcony was great. Clean and charming, mid-sized yet homely. Close walk to Lorrach Hbf and town's amenities, twice-hourly train links into Basel for quick access to Black Forest and northern Swiss cities. Quiet, lovely breakfast, good air conditioning.

My colleague & I visited this hotel on business. Very pleasant stay right in the middle of the sqaure. Rooms were great, staff were on form. Limited choices of bars and restaurants but perfect for a night or two. Much cheaper than Basel too.

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Titisee. Lovely decor and very clean, modern and well equipped. A nice surprise to find a sauna as well. Titisee itself was nice, but everything was closed by 7pm, so either make use of the kitchen in the apartment or eat out early! On site parking was included and very handy.
