"Enos the gentleman at the front desk was great and very helpful! My room was very clean and cozy….This is a very charming and quirky hotel that feels more like a bed-and-breakfast… I stayed in the Dale Evans room, which is in the section of the hotel that has shared bathrooms and kitchen… There was no one else on my end that evening during the week so I had the kitchen and bathroom to myself. My room had a balcony right out the door overlooking the street which was very nice. It’s a busy street...

"Overall a really nice hotel and has amazing views (I paid extra for the ocean view which is worth it) but unfortunately the heat didn’t work in our room so we were very cold at night and left early in the AM. The fireplace also didn’t have instructions as a fix to having no heat. Even though we had a negative experience, Id still recommend this hotel but the staff should definitely check the thermostats ahead of time. "

"Breakfast was great and there were menu changes daily. Hot tub did not work while we stayed so if thats a big thing for you, maybe call ahead. Pool area was very nice. Hotel location was great with walking trails, restaurants and stores near by. "

"Great house to rent for the price when you are bouncing between SF and East Bay. Even during "rush hour" it only took 20-30 minutes to get to downtown SF. It wasn't clear in the listing that it is one of two units of a duplex. Neighborhood is great there's a park/playground 100feet from the house which was great since we were traveling with a toddler. Would stay here again when visiting the Bay Area."
