After many years of being an Expedia member, my recent stay was a bitter disappointment.I still feel the change in condo location was a 'bait and switch' on the owners part. This is not an 'upgrade' as they claim. This unit does cover the basics and that is about it. The original condo reservation is better decorated and stocked. They assigned us to this condo well before arrival but did not let us know. The Condo authorization was approved on in 3 days before arrival.
Something the assistant manager ambushed us with when we checked in was an 'Electric usage' contract with a refundable deposit. The start meter read was not included. When I asked for a document related to this they did not give one. (The back story he gave was a Canadian cryptocurrency trader had stayed once and generated a huge electric bill - really?)
The assistant manager Patrick assured us he would stop by on the day before we left to give this back to us. I sent a message to ask when he would stop by the day before we left. But he only responded late in the evening after I sent a message that I was going to report this. Now that we have checked out, Patrick states he will send the money to us after we do a 5 star survey. This is what I think of that.
Cannot trust this host and owner, will not stay with them again!
