We like the view, the breakfast, the friendliness of the staff members, the comfort of our room and the surrounding area of the resort. However, we did find a large section of spider web hanging from the top of our room. Also, it’s very difficult to get to the resort, but once you get there you’ll be able to enjoy it.

The room is a bit small.The natural hot spring was quite far to reach on foot. We have to go there by car.

We are sorry that you judged the room that we gave you as an upgrade to be small, given that you had booked the economy room, which is notoriously and universally described as "small" but we assigned you a "classic" room, a "standard" one. Thank you also for reiterating to everyone that we do not have the Spa inside the structure, so we reiterate to everyone that we are close to the Spa, less than 3 km, and from us, you can only smell the Maremma scents, without the smell of sulfur dioxide. The property ad is lovely but getting there it was rundown, pool was green and unusable, hot tub was full of bugs. There were stink bugs everywhere, dirty water and insufficient air conditioning. Certainly not what is advertised. Staff was friendly but dinner was just ok. We would not come here again.

I am sorry about your complaint. We are in the middle of Wild Tuscany and cannot do more for the bugs. We fight every day with them, but it is impossible to win. It is the beauty and the bad of our position. The pool was closed, as usual, in the middle of September because the water was cold. After two days of heavy rain, the algae were too much, and we thought we could not change 250,000 litres of water for a few days.In any case, I hope you'll understand we do our best for our Guests. We also may make mistakes, and I apologise for the problems you have had, sorry.With regards

This place is perfect for relax, very peaceful and calm. The owner the property is excellent person, very helpful. All staff are very kind. The SPA is incredible and I am very good welcome from Anka. It was my second time there and for sure I will be back another time.

Great place except for steps.
Do not use this hotel if you can't go up and down steps. Even the breakfast area was down outside steps. Nice place near Cascate. A little difficult to find initially.

We have a building on three levels in the middle of the hill, so it is necessary to take a few steps to go anywhere out of the room, or, if necessary, we may drive the Guests with the lift. I was looking forward to this hotel as it is so beautiful. The view and grounds were lovely but it let me down a bit. No AC in the rooms and English to Italian at dinner was not the best as it seemed the they didn’t understand me a bit. But all in all good maybe my expectations were tow high.

For what concerns the AC, we apologize but this is not the season to turn it on, as many people are still asking for heating and we cannot manage both machines at the same time, we think that this season is to live our temperature that is fresh... I didnt lime the fact that you had to pay 3 euro to use the hottub for 20 minutes- do tacky. Ac wasnt working & roof deck closed & wasn’t informed at check in.

Joan, when we inaugurated the Jacuzzi, it was free, but then the rude people who stayed inside all day thinking it was just them forced us to put the paid token with limited time. Who's tacky? The terrace is closed only when the weather does not allow us; by now, it is cold here in the morning and evening for most guests. And the air conditioning is no longer needed. Too bad because we also gave you a free upgrade, and this is your thanks.

Large size rooms with kings size beds, very quiet and relaxing. Great swimming pool with a bar. I would highly recommend stay here.

The area is stunning, and next time I would spent two nights, just to really rest and soak in the natural beauty. However, our experience here was a little disappointing. It could also be different cultural expectations that led to the disappointment, but when we saw a certain amount of stars to this hotel, we had an expectation in our minds that was not met. The restaurant for one, felt like a dining room facility in a retirement home. There was loud live music - a man playing a keyboard with demo drum sounds. When we entered the dining room, the entrance was at the front, and every table was facing the door, so all eyes were on us and it was so awkward. Breakfast portions were ridiculous. Bacon and eggs was a plate with maybe one scrambled egg and a quarter of a regular slice of bacon. I couldn’t believe it. The bacon was about the one of a thumb. The spa was available for use for 140 euro per person for exclusive use for 90 minutes. I’ve been to much nicer spa areas that charged much less, though the saunas were great, but the overall ambiance felt like a public swimming pool. It honestly didn’t feel like a 140 euro experience. Not to mention, there were no cups for water in the room or things to eat. Maybe 30 or 40 each would be more appropriate. So as I mentioned, next time I come to Saturnia, I would like to spend two nights, however, I would rather get a bnb of my own with a kitchen, or, go all in and stay at the luxury Saturnia resort down the road.

Okay, sir, I'm really sorry you basically didn't like anything we do. I respect all your considerations but, for professional and personal honesty, I must say that I do not agree with any of his criticisms, because otherwise, I would have to upset, indeed completely destroy what we do and do it again. I don't quite understand how. So if it were really as you say we should have closed the hotel, SPA and restaurant form a long long time! Instead, thanks to the appreciation of everything that you criticize, which is almost general, by over 93% of our Guests, I take this chance to remind all readers who will come in the future that the buffet served at the table at breakfast from 8 to 10.30 in the morning is one of the largest and most varied in the hotel world and that there are no limits on the quantity or number of portions that can be obtained from the waiters: just ask. I agree with her, we are not up to her standard, better go to a BB with a kitchenette.

Awesome views and hotel
Loved this place. The staff was helpful and friendly. The views were amazing and the pool was awesome. The rooms were spacious and modern. They even had e-bikes for rent right there. It was one of the best places we stayed on our trip to Italy. Their restaurant is great and the owner was up there one night roasting chestnuts for everyone. Would stay there again. One of our favorite places!

The restaurant and staff was wonderful, very inviting and very delicious food. They didn't speak a lot of english but managed to provide a wonderful authentic dining experience. The restaurant is on the pricier side but well worth it. Good thing since this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, MIDDLE OF NO WHERE. Be prepared, have plenty of gas in your car, have any necessities from the real world you might need before heading out here. Gps/cell service doesn't work either. After making the journey out we got a rather cool greeting from reception and had to ask about amenities of the hotel such as information on the pool and sauna. We saw some rooms had spa robes but ours however did not, not sure if thats something you would have got at check in but it felt like pulling teeth finding out about and accessing the sauna facilities. The young girl working the spa desk was really nice and helpful. Reception the morning of checkout was also very kind and helpful, just got a cool reception upon arrival.

Setting is beautiful with stunning sweeping views all around with the wonderful Cascate del Mulino, the natural thermal pools, only an 8 minute drive away - perfect! Our room was spacious and very clean ... but the hotel was dated for our taste which is fine but worth a mention if you are looking for modern / contemporary! Breakfast was good - not extensive but a reasonable choice of items. All staff we encountered were friendly & helpful ... overall we had a comfortable & pleasant stay!

Near to Terme di Saturnia/Good Restaurant
We stayed here mainly to go to the nearby Terme di Saturnia - The hotel is about 5 mins drive away. The hotel itself also has 2 small indoor jacuzzi spas to use. It has a great adjoining restaurant. Although we had problems initially with wifi connection, it was sorted out and satisfactory after.

Great location!
Beautiful location close to the hot springs. We had dinner at the restaurant which was fantastic and the included breakfast was nice. The typical Italian spread. This is a great place to stay to enjoy the hot springs and a weekend of relaxation.

Great stay!
Great staff and beautiful hotel. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They hotel was clean and there were plenty of towels, pillows and toiletries. The restaurant connect to the hotel was fabulous! We loved the property it was perfect to walk around with our little one to explore. The spa was good, however they didn’t seem to have much technique in massage or facial. Not so relaxing but I enjoyed it none the less after a full week of travel with my little one.

Saturnia hotel was very nice. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. My only complaint is rooms are not soundproofed and it was hard to sleep with a normal noise level from the lobby and hallway.

Fantastic setting with amazing food
On the map it didn't look far but was 2 and a bit hours from Siena mainly because its in the hills way off any major roads. I enjoyed the drive but if your not a great driver it can be a challenge - don't forget the satnav as its quite literally in the middle of nowhere down a steep lane. Once your in then prepare to relax. The staff were fantastic with excellent English which helped! The room was an average size with an nice bathroom (no bath just shower) - but what made the room was the view over hills. There is practically nothing other than hills in view with a terrace to watch the sunset. Outside pool and garden areas are great when the sun is shinning but one of the best parts was the restaurant. We ate out a lot that week in Italy as some great restaurants but this was for me the best meal I had, probably ever had. Truffle gnocchi with a bottle of 414 wine, desert and all while watching the sun set. I thought it was very good value considering where we were and the quality of food. A bottle of wine at the table was starting at 20 euros (good wine as well), a glass in the bar 6 euros. There is a wine shop on site if you want to drink in your room on the balcony. I wish we had a few days here to relax, there isn't anywhere else to visit without a good drive up the hill, some local restaurants in town which are very local. Will be going back for a few days longer next time!

The hotel has a wonderful feel to it. Both relaxed and friendly with beautiful pool, gardens and lots of lovely seating areas, spread across the property. The hotel staff were so friendly, patient and went out of their way to help us. However, it is quite isolated and not fully operational until June. We wish them every success.

Relaxing spa getaway
Incredible views of Tuscany and two castle towns. Great service, excellent amenities and a good restaurant with well chosen wine list. Great area for exploring and visiting the stunning ( free ! ) thermal waterfalls less than 2km away. Extensive included breakfast buffet and very good rates. We will return !!

Wonderful experience - the hotel has everything you need (except laundry service) so there is no need to leave the premises if you don't feel like it. Staff are excellent and friendly, and prices at restaurant and for spa treatments were all very reasonable.

Great place to spend a couple of days in Tuscany
Very nice hotel beautifully located in the middle of beautiful sothern Tuscany. The view from the hotel is fantastic. It really is like looking out over a fairy-tale landscape. Friendly staff, nice rooms and small but nicely arranged spa-section. For the price we paid for food we expected a little more though. The hot spring of Saturnia is located close by and bathing there in the themal waterfall was a special experince.

Most relaxing place I have ever been to
This hotel, Oh my goodness, was wonderrrfullll! After the hustle and bustle of Rome for a few days this was the perfect getaway. Unbelievable pool, incredible restaurant, sweetest people working there. I didn't speak very good italian and the woman at the desk was googling words so we could understand each other. It was just such a nice experience over all. Definitely off the beaten path, but totally worth it.

Great Place in the middle of Tuscany
We were going to stay one night and ended up staying three. The GPS cannot find it but just type Saturnia that is very close to town and there are signs showing the way as you get close to the city. There is a good restaurant at the Hotel but other good ones in the area. Its close also to the River where you can go for free and also park for free to the natural pools of sulfurous waters.

We were visiting Etruscan sites and walks and hotel well placed. Excellent help with finding bus times and flawless welcome. swimming pool still available outside and pleasant small spa not crowded at this season. Great breakfast flawless rooms and a good night's sleep. Price reasonable as low season so excellent value all round.

Great hotel
Nice hotel in a great location, very close to the thermal springs of Saturnia. The hotel pool overlooking the Tuscan countryside was very enjoyable to swim in. The only slight downside was the opening hours of the spa, which was closed during most of the day while we were there so we weren't able to make the most of the facilities.
