"The quirky nature of the Shepherds Hut combined with the superb location were what appealed to us & we were 'not' disappointed! The Hut was beautiful & incredibly well kitted out with everything you could need. The welcome pack was a lovely touch & very much appreciated. We travelled with our pet dog & it was reassuring to be able to close the gate & know he was safe & secure. It was lovely to be able to watch the alpacas in the field by the hut too! "Our experience was perplexing from the start, with directions so inadequate that we had to ask the way. When we arrived I was attacked by geese at large in the grounds. Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities.
