"We were very pleased with out stay. The apartment is about as close as you can get to the beach of Machico without being on it. Dozens of cafes/restaurants in walking distance, two grocery stores as well! The apartment is small but the location helps make up for it. All amenities were as described and we didn't feel like we were missing anything. Parking is difficult during the day if you have a car. I would recommend parking about two blocks north in a parking lot by the police station (free). Past 1800 hours or so it becomes easy to park on the street near the apartment. Overall very happy and would recommend!"
