"Had a lovely weekend at the Oak Tree Rooms, our room was very clean and had everything we needed, the bathroom is spacious and the water pressure was excellent. Paulina and Bruno were very accommodating and let drop off my bag before check in and leave it there after check out. The garden was lovely to hang out in after a long day of hiking. Would happily recommend this to anyone - especially if traveling by train as it’s very close to the station."

"A nice room and good location for public transport into Southampton by Train or Bus.
Convenient Co-Op and choice of take away food shops.
I felt that some small changes would have raised my score, including:
Toilet Seat properly fixed.
Sufficient crockery and cutlery for 2 people, including glasses, desert spoons (there were none) dinner plates.
TV (there is an aerial socket)
Toaster
Small changes, make a big difference."

"Room was tidy and clean, one issue was the loud shouting in the corridor of the room service lady one of the mornings. Shower was not powerful but adequate. Nice lounge and dining area. Overall a nice stay"

"Dirty, changed my room, someone else in my room when I arrived so not safe to leave any belongings in room as someone else was in the building and had access. Didn’t send entry codes to one room. No toilet or shower so had to use a communal toilet which didn’t have any toilet paper. Cheap for a reason. Clearly are not cleaning the rooms. Wouldn’t risk sleeping under the sheets so slept on top of the quilt "

"A decent bed for the night, with on suite toilet (no toilet paper though).
Decent shared kitchen to use if required, and a quite area at night.
Overall, I'll book with Darwin Guest house again."

This charming coastal town boasts a bustling Saturday market and scenic marina where sailors gather at waterfront pubs. Explore the cobblestone streets of the old town or take the ferry to nearby Isle of Wight for day trips.
We were made to feel very welcome the moment we arrived until we left. Lovely quiet location. Breakfast was a real treat with a wide selection. Excellent gluten free choices available. We shall return!

We arrived to a very warm welcome with one of the staff carrying and escorting us to our room, through out the stay was excellent as all of the staff were very professional, smartly dressed and the hospitality and very polite people.
The room was comfortable and warm, there room staff was very helpful to offering us fresh towels on the next day.
We did not stay for any breakfast as we had plenty things to do and explore the New Forest Treasures as we had never been down those necks of the wood...

Little Hotel with a big attitude, everything about our stay was exactly how I wanted it, the owners are a lovely couple and really put 100% into making your stay a memorable one. We only eat breakfast at the Hotel, but if that is anything to go by the food was excellent. The Hotel has a nice comfortable bar with reasonable prices. We will definitely come again

The room we had was great for our needs for the long weekend. Easy to access with self check in and out. Loads of info provided about the area for restaurants etc in a book left in the room which was genuinely useful.
Jenny was great with providing required info on booking and checking we had that info again before we arrived.
We’d definitely stay again if we visit Poole.
