"It was relaxing and very quiet. The meals in the inn were amazing especially the scrambled egg in morning. Everyone was friendly and polite. A really amazing place for rest and relaxation. "

"Lovely quirky hotel. Staff were fab. Food was lovely and best mussels I’ve had, beating many good French restaurants. Bed was slightly uncomfortable as sloping a bit one way and a pillow menu would be good as I prefer really soft down ones. Good hot showers and loved the windows opening wide as sleep with fresh air even in winter so suited us well. Loved the lounge to sit in quietly as well on a drizzly day. 10/10"

"Lovely stop on the way to Cornwall. Spacious hotel, quiet and the swimming pool was an excellent little distraction for the little one who loved it after a long drive. Good location and close to the motorway! "

"Great hotel with excellent staff. Rooms good and beds are very comfortable, could do with a fridge in the the rooms tho. Plenty of parking spaces and a short walk to town."

"Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay."
