"This property is listed as 'luxury' but is anything but luxury. The hot tub didnt work, there werent enough chairs / plates / bowls, cups were plastic. Communication with the host was awful, hours before she replied and her paypal account didnt work for payment. She made us wait outside the property on arrival and kept 40 from our security deposit due to the faulty hot tub. This was a no stars break and if you are thinking about booking, I would think again."

"Nice cheap and cheerful hotel"

"Arriving at the station the hotel is a 15/20 minute mainly downhill walk (buses and taxis are available). My room was at the corner of the hotel overlooking the city centre but it was very quiet. The room was well presented and maintained well throughout my stay. Continental breakfast options were good and free. Cooked breakfast options are extra and the “Mannings” breakfast is a very full plate! There is no lift at the hotel but this is made clear to guests in advance. All the staff I met were pleasant and helpful. Due to all the above and the good central location I would stay at Mannings again."

"The weather was amazing It’s been took over since April so the lift didn’t work. We only had one pillow but when we asked for another one they gave it to us.,the room didn’t get clean for the four days while we was there ,the tv didn’t work I was disappointed because I have been going there for the past five years but all said and done you have to give them a chance to sort everything out ,"

"It was the first time staying at this hotel. It was a great place overall but what made it an amazing experience was thr hotel staff especially Matthew. Matthew went above and beyond to make our stay amazing he was genuinely kind and had exceptional customer service. Other staff who deserve a mention is Sarah and Anita. Thanks you all we will definitely we coming back."
