Reservation not honored

I can't actually speak to the quality of the property because our reservation was not honored by the property owner. The day we were to check in, I reached out for check in info and was told that the cabin had been rented to someone else (I did have a reservation confirmation from VRBO). The property owner was very prompt in getting back to me about all of this and was apologetic but could not honor our reservation or provide a stay another of their properties. I was told that they use other platforms but have problems working with VRBO yet the property is listed on VRBO. So the property looks wonderful and I am sorry we couldn't stay there but please check with the property owner to reserve this property. You chance being hours from home with no where to stay otherwise. Side note - once I reached out to VRBO, they were very prompt to refund the full amount we paid and offer a potential reimbursement on a future stay.
