"The house was wonderful - kitchen was super clean and fully prepared for all of our cooking. Bedrooms had individual mini splits for AC - the grounds were well maintained, and the provided beach chairs and boogie board were a lot of fun. "

"Amazing, low key, beautiful fauna and foliage. Enjoyed the daily visits to the coffee shop, had multiple meals at the newly opened onsite Gaia restaurant and loved our morning yoga on our lania. Tunnels is a quick 15 minute drive as are the botanical gardens and the coastal hike. The pool was warm and clean. Only thing needed was a blind that could open and close in the master bedroom and a second lamp as well for the second nightstand."

"The treehouse was a great place to stay; our favorite space was the screened in lanai. We were aware of the barking dogs & roosters crowing at all hours of the day, but the road noise was a bit unexpected & since the entrance to the property was right at the double one way bridges, it was challenging to enter/exit to the property without a 2 point turn or driving slightly further down the road to turn around for the entrance. We also had a few little friends (lizards) who kept us company throughout the week—my kids loved it. There were ants in attendance, but we kept our food in the microwave, fridge or in containers & there were no problems. The washer & dryer are large and easily accommodated the big, fluffy beach towels provided. We were close to Hanalei & utilized the nearby market & coffee shop often. "

Reviewer Comments: My wife and I stayed at Hanalei Colony for 8 nights at the end of March and we loved the beautiful view of the ocean and wonderful sunrise each morning. The location provides a nice restaurant and coffee shop on property that both offered great quality and friendly service. Saw and spoke with many locals each morning while grabbing coffee. The resort was very clean and staff were friendly. If you’re looking for a place to have some peace and stay apart from the larger crowds with less people, this is the place. Although it is away from larger areas, just a short 10-20 minute drive gets you to Hanalei and Princeville that offer plenty of restaurants, shopping and grocery supplies. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again!"
