Rush Creek Lodge and Spa at Yosemite
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was great. The views were amazing. Loved the property."
Yosemite View Lodge
8/10 Good
"This property is nice but could be amazing. It is close to the park entrance, and 2 miles away, which is one of its best assets. The other is the setting in the river. The rooms are dated and could use an update. It’s great having the kitchenette, especially since neither restaurant is open for lunch and there isn’t anything nearby except a gas station market and the little market in the hotel lobby. Getting to food in the park is about a half hour drive. The main restaurant was ok, the food was better than expected but the atmosphere is a bit sad and my cosmo was not great. There is a bar that is almost hidden and was dark and dreary. Breakfast was buffet only for $25 a person, would have preferred made to order at ala carte pricing. The pizza place was the best option. We used one of the pools, the hot tub was cold and filled with leaves. The overall atmosphere is like a summer camp, we were told there were fire pits at night but we did not see them lit. Nice stay but has such potential."

"Overall was good for one night. Host was very friendly and great communication. Everything was clean except for the water reservoir in the coffee maker so I just used the French press and the shower curtain in downstairs bathroom was moldy. Air conditioning didn’t work and that’s one of the reasons I chose the home because it said it had ac, but it was cool at night to open the windows and have fans going so that was fine. Definitely bring your own pillows though because the pillows were so flat I woke up with neck ache and headache; beds were comfortable. Was very convenient being inside the park and only 35minutes to main areas including Yosemite Village Parking lot. Peaceful and beautiful views of trees outside back deck to have coffee in the morning."

"Amazing little cabin, perfect for 2 people, or 2 people and a baby/small child! There were so many little details and things that were paid attention to, little touches that we appreciated and did not expect. So the cabin is basically a studio 1-bedroom, which we were aware of, but still we were not expecting all these little ancillary things to be paid attention to. Examples: A.) There's a Weber 2 burner propane BBQ outside the cabin. I confirmed this ahead of time because we were bringing tri-tip, hot dogs & hamburgers to cook on the grill, but then we forgot to bring tongs or something to clean the bbq with. No worries....there weas a clean set of tongs, and a bbq grill scraper in the cabin., B.) I had confirmed ahead of time that we could cook on the 2-burner electric grill inside the cabin in case there were any issues with the bbq. Because of that possibility, we packed a full set of of cast iron pans in case we needed to cook on the stovetop in the cabin. No need.....they already had a full set of pans and cookware in the cabinets. C.) They had a "Mr. Coffee" coffee machine. We bought pre-ground coffee beans because we forgot to bring a coffee bean grinder, and also bought paper filters at Ralphs. No need, they had a coffee bean grinder, paper filters available, and creamer in the fridge! Overall my wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the Shady Grove Cabin.....yes it's small, but it's the perfect space to make home for a couple days for 2 or 3 people,"

"This was a beautiful house right in the park! We couldn’t have asked for a better location. It was about 30 minutes from Yosemite Village. They had everything we needed and more! They were kind enough to leave snacks out for us, which our kids loved. We would highly recommend this property!!"

"Really great location! Had a feeling of history. Very cozy. Had a little trouble with location as I had no service so no map app. I’d suggest doing a screenshot before going down the hill. The pillows were not good. Otherwise, loved it."
