The staff were very accommodating. The room, bathroom, kitchen were ideally clean and well appointed. I was much better than we expected for our needs. The only draw back is the noise on the highway, which we contributed to with our driving. Moreover, the parking was full at the red bud lodge, so we were asked to park beside the road which was not safe at all. The rooms are all on the second floor up an outside steep staircase if that is difficult for you. They have no front desk there so you have to check in at the Cedar Lodge down the street but that was no big deal. The room had a kitchenette of sorts with a hot plate, dishes etc but we didn’t realize that so didn’t take advantage of it. Friendly staff.
