"Don’t waste time with pre check in. You’re still sat at the lobby with everyone else to wait for over an hour to check in. It took us nearly 2 hours to check in and we didn’t even bother to wait for the shuttle to bring our bags up. We were told to wait for someone to help us, got tired of that, and once we started walking suddenly we were offered help. We came in on a private cab so it’s not like we showed up with a group from a shuttle. The people on the shuttle that showed up 15-20 minutes after us were getting helped before we were and we were pre checked in! The activity schedule means nothing, it’s rarely happening and never on time. The breakfast buffet was so boring after the first 2 days. Had more lunch/dinner options than breakfast and was pretty much the same each day. The evening entertainment was drastically toned down from our last trip to this resort. Many of the activities and entertainment were shut down with no notice at all. "

"Great place to stay on budget - close by beaches and downtown clubs - everything is walking distance. Bring towels, they only give you one a day, buy a big bottle of water for your room because there’s nothing on site. They also charge you $2 delivery food and tip if you wanna order anything to the room. "

"Blue Paloma is a hidden gem. Following the funeral of my mother, I traveled alone to Jamaica seeking a peaceful retreat for reflection. My stay at Blue Paloma, a traditional bed and breakfast located approximately forty minutes outside of Montego Bay in the town of Lucea was the perfect place for my needs. The spacious and beautifully appointed gated home features comfortable en-suite bedrooms (my room had a balcony overlooking the pool). Each morning, a generous breakfast is served, including a hot beverage, fresh juice, fruit, porridge, and an entree. The property boasts a pool, outside dining space, and ample common areas to relax. It is within walking distance to the city center and a thirty-minute drive to Negril. The exceptional owner and staff at Blue Paloma truly make it a special place. I felt safe and welcomed upon arrival, and like part of the family by the time I checked out. If you are looking for high-end accommodations and exceptional hospitality, I highly recommend you plan your next stay at Blue Paloma. I eagerly anticipate my next visit. "

"At first glance my room looks spectacular. Later in the night while asleep felt my skin burn and itching with a smell coming from the bedsheets and blankets it was a strong odor of e- cigarettes. It was my worst night of sleep that kept me nervous. Luckily I travel with allergy tablets. Next day I spoke to my attention to have my entire bed sheet and blankets strip and removed from my bed room and she did a thorough job. I applaud her to do a fantastic job and I was so comfortable for the rest of my stay. It was a short stay andI will be back with my friends.The food and bar was good. The staff are pleasant etc. I wish we have some more live shows or entertainment at night. Also, I will give a score of 4."

"Great beach , great dinners, very very far walk from everything. Our toilet seat was loose and broken but alright. Only got minibar fridge refilled on second to last day, the request online never came for it that evening but all in all great relaxing spot. Would greatly benefit from more games or pool tables outside for people to use in free time. Maybe better night time performances too like more variety on the beach etc we were here a whole week a lot of similar night time events but we had a great time for sure "

"Resort was really great. It's huge and so much to do. They really have everything you can think of, multiple pools, tons of restaurants and dedicated areas for the kids and lots of entertainment every single night. The food was great. Our room was amazing (we got the swim out - highly recommend 10/10). The Staff was very nice, friendly and super helpful throughout our entire stay. We can't wait to go back next year!"

"It’s simply one of the most beautiful hotel resorts on Seven Mile Beach. Nestled in an art deco style, it is perfectly maintained, with a stunning sandy beach set among gentle shade, palm trees, and other local vegetation. The water is calm, with almost no waves—sometimes a bit shallow, but every place has its trade-offs. The food is excellent, high-quality, with Jamaican cuisine highly recommended, while they also do a great job with international dishes. Overall, I’d say the entire property feels like one large Caribbean spa."
