"Cottage just georgous, lovely and quiet. We had a good rest whilst enjoying the local sites of Wells and Frome. We enjoyed a meal at the Oakhill pub at the end of the road, a very good recommendation. Beds were compfy, shower good, everything you need kitchen wise, garden great for our small dogs. The fire was great and we were kept very warm. For us, the sofa was the only downside. Ultimately we loved our stay ❤️"

"The perfect house for a family weekend. We are a group of 9 adults and a 3yr and 1yr old. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious but little time was spent there as so much to do. Lovely secure garden with summer house and games room and then the rowing boat which was great fun. We also brought our paddle boards. "Lovely large house that accommodated 10 of us easily. Great large entertaining space with ample room for everyone to sit comfortably and great dining table that seats 10. Kitchen very well equipped with 2 ovens making it so easy to cater for a large group. All bedrooms lovely with great matresses for a good nights sleep. "We returned to stay at the Old Stables again for a few days, coupled with a visit to Glastonbury and Wells. Again, everything was perfect and we love the location, providing excellent access to both towns, with a wonderful rural setting. The space is warm and cosy, with everything being thoughtfully provided for a self-catering stay. We will certainly be back!"

"Overall the property was in a great location.Flat was everything that you needed. Pity however that it was missing just a few little touches. A small bottle of milk would not have gone amiss. No salt and pepper. The TV remote control needs to be replaced. Control buttons not working . Could not get any BBC channels on free view . All small problems . The entry instructions were great and very clear. "
