Close to everything in Venice and Santa Monica. Head out for shopping and for the night to famous Abbot Kinney Blvd, just 1 block away. All hotspots of Venice are at walking distance: canals, Main St, Muscle Beach, skate park... Carport included. All surfaces are professionally cleaned and disinfected. There is only one floor, so it's easy to access. There are a few steps to walk down from the kitchen to the bedroom and a patio in the bedroom. The unit is 600 square feet and has a combination of hardwood floor and tiles flooring. It has one bedroom with a queen-size bed that sleeps two people comfortably. In the living room, a sofa pulls out to convert to a queen-sized bed which sleeps two people as well. The kitchen separates the living room and the bedroom, there is no separation door. One bathroom with a shower and a tub, shampoo, shower gel, beach towels and a hairdryer are provided. A fully-equipped kitchen (four burners stove, oven, refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, kettle, microwave, crockery and cutlery for four people, cooking utensils). In the bedroom, you will find a yoga mat, an iron, an ironing board and beach gear (beach chairs, beach toys). If you have a car, you can park it in our carport. Otherwise, street parking is easy and free. Just make sure to read the signs for the street cleaning (Monday on one side of the street and Tuesday on the other side, from noon to 2pm). The check-in procedure is automated so you don't need to worry about late arrivals or having to wait for us at the property. We accommodate early check-ins at 1:30pm and late check-outs at 12:30pm for a $50 fee each. Just let us know your time of arrival and departure prior; you will pay us the extra fee directly after booking. Pet Policy: We welcome up to two pets per stay and charge $20 per pet per night. Please let us know how many pets you're bringing. The pet fee is included in the price if you're adding one pet when booking. You will have to pay us directly for the 2nd pet. Dogs should not be left unattended in the bungalow or private back patio at any time. The private back patio is not a dog park, please walk your dog on the street for bathroom breaks. If you're attending an event and need to leave your dog behind, a pet sitter is required. We're happy to recommend a great local sitter. According to Vrbo guidelines, a camera on the porch films everyone's comings and goings. There is no AC in the bungalow as in most of the buildings in Venice. There is always a nice breeze though, as we are so close to the ocean. We provide two portable fans and there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Please, use the fans only in case of heat wave, otherwise open the windows to save electricity. Thanks! The location was ideal, just about a block away from Abbot Kinney, and also within and easy walk to the beach, and to the Venice canals area. Despite being in the middle of everything, the neighborhood was still very quiet, so it was the best of all worlds. The house itself had everything we needed. It's pretty small but it has space for 3-4 people to stay comfortably (it was just two of us), and it was clean and had all the basics that you need for a little getaway. Host was very helpful and friendly. Great communication and easy check in and out. The cottage was nice although it had a slightly mildewy smell. All of the other cottages on the street seemed to have chairs and or tables in front, but this one has a rule about not being on the front porch or sitting in the front grass area, which was disappointing because it’s on a lovely street. Overall a great place for a short stay close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. ##### Christine S. It's cozy, warm, quirky, with its own vibe, in an excellent neighborhood, with its own charm. Quiet, quiet, and more quiet. We loved it and it was a very accommodating experience, as we expected it to be.Go stay and see for yourself... it is what you make it.If you've got a dog(s), be aware there are additional cleaning fees.Communication with host and checking in/out is straightforward and a breeze. ##### Shaye L. My girlfriend and I were in CA for a wedding and decided to book this location last minute. The location was absolutely perfect. You’re within walking distance from multiple shops as well as walking distance from Venice Beach. In addition, you’re only a short drive from LA (without traffic). The host was extremely kind and accommodating. The house was slightly dated and could use a facelift, but the location makes up for that. We did encounter some slight bug issues due to having to leave the windows open for cooling, but otherwise we have no complaints. We would definitely stay there again! ##### Sharod F. Location is easy to get to and close to the beach. The best part was at the beach. The place was not as clean as the pictures. It could use a professional house cleaning service, gardener, and fresh paint. Patio uninviting full of leaves. Neighbors upstairs was noisy at night we got little to no sleep. I enjoyed the neighborhood and could easily walk to lots of great places. This is not easy in LA.we Ubers around to events, and it was accessible for the drivers on pick up and drop off. Lovely place in a great location. Close enough to walk to the beach. Smaller cars are easier to park in their parking space and finding street parking around was not super difficult.
