Only major warning and complaint I would have is the hotel front desk charged a "deposite" on check in I thought nothing of it because its an international card. Luckily I was meeting someone who lives in China and when they found out they immediately got a refund. It was explained to me that deposites are not something that is done. Other than that all other areas of service were beyond excellent, the breakfast buffet was fantastic every morning, and the view of the lake from a room that overlooks it is spectacular.

Underwhelming as a vacation hotel. The hotel itself was ok, but the surrounding area was not good. Only limited choices of food at the restaurant in the hotel. Needed to walk 10mins to find a decent restaurant. Only a small outdoor pool. Work out area is very small. Bed was ok, not very comfortable for a vacation hotel. Limited choices for breakfast. Coffee machine was not commercial level, broken every several minutes. The good side is the hotel is just several minutes walking to Daguan Park that was very beautiful with the water lilies in July. We didn’t have time to try their yoga so can’t comment on that.

8.2/10 Very good! (132 reviews)
"The hotel is right across the Green Lake. Traffic in Kunming was the worst I have ever seen in China, especially around the city center so be mindful how much time you need to go around places. Breakfast buffet was ok for the hotels in Kunming. When I arrived, the hotel told me the room type I booked ..."
