Overview

  • Start your day with a hotel pick-up and head to the Stone Forest for a private guided tour. After Stone Forest, head to Yiliang for a sumptuous lunch at a famous local roast duck restaurant. Opt for a Halal option if you prefer. This traditional dish is a speciality of Yiliang County, and is renowned for its unique preparation method and mouthwatering flavours, making it a must-try for food lovers visiting the area.

After lunch, head back towards Kunming where you can choose a fully customised city tour to complete the day before returning to your hotel. Opt for a walking tour of Kunming Old Town or Guandu Ancient Town, visit the Yunnan Ethnic Village or take a cable car to Western Hills and Dragon Gate. You can also visit the Yunnan Provincial Museum or Dounan Flower Market. Experience Chinese tea tasting at a teahouse or sign up for a Tile Cat making experience.
