This former Victorian building is located on the ground floor with enormous bay windows overlooking the Sutherland Avenue neighbourhood. The bright and spacious living room features a comfy sofa, a flat-screen TV and a dining table for four. The kitchen is fully equipped with essential cookware and cutleries to cook delicious homemade meals, such as a stove, an oven and a microwave. There are two bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a heavenly king-sized bed, and the second has a single-day bed which can be extended into a double bed. All beds are fitted with complimentary hotel-quality linens. The bathroom has all the amenities you will need to freshen up. Clean towels and complimentary toiletries will also be supplied for your convenience. The apartment is always professionally cleaned and sanitized for your health and safety. Enjoy your stay! On the day of your arrival, you can seamlessly complete the check-in process using Keynest by visiting a nearby store within walking distance of the property. You will receive your keys by providing a code to the store attendant. The store's address and the required code will be conveniently shared with you at least 48 hours before, and the code is valid within 30 minutes before your scheduled time. Please note that keys are also required to be dropped off at checkout We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home so please take good care of it as if it was your own. Little Venice/Maida Vale is one of Central London's most desirable locations, with easy access to public transport and local and Royal Parks (Regents Park and Hyde Park). There are local and boutique shops, coffee shops, delis, pubs and cafes/restaurants locally at Formosa Street, Clifton Gardens and Lauderdale Road. There is a coffee shop and pub/restaurant (the Hero of Maida) opposite the apartment on Shirland Road. The area is characterised by beautiful Georgian and Victorian-era architecture and is favoured and liked by families and young professionals. The Grand Union Canal at Little Venice provides a beautiful walking route weaving through Central London. Warwick Avenue underground station (Bakerloo line) is a 6-minute walk. Paddington rail and underground station (Circle, H&C Line, Bakerloo Line, Elizabeth Line) is a 15-minute walk. The new Elizabeth Line provides fast direct services to Heathrow, West End, the City and Canary Wharf. There is a bus stop on Shirland Road, and the number 6 bus offers regular services to and from the West End. This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time (3 PM). Also, we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). There may be an additional cost to replace the locks for security purposes. So, please keep your keys safe. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a minimum of £300 for the smoking fee. We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity, we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without a refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Owner had left instructions to work the heating/TV etc and it was a lovely, relaxed family home. Bathroom a little small (normal for London) but the flat was a good size. Two good sized double bedrooms, one down a couple of steps. The main bedroom next to the bathroom. Useful convenience shop 2 mins walk away, and a nice Italian restaurant. Deliveroo means you can also order deliveries/take out food easily. 25-30 mins underground to London Picadilly Circus for theatre etc from the nearest station (Warwick Road) which is 4-5 mins walk from the flat (as is the shop where you collect the keys en route to the flat). Unfortunately, the apartment was very hot and there were no fans. The windows in the bedrooms opened a little, but there was no way to open the windows in the kitchen for a cross breeze. The back bedroom had a musty smell and the bed in there was very thin. Also, having to walk an additional 15 minutes to get the key with luggage after traveling all day was a real hassle.
