We had a wonderful stay at Borgo San Francesco. The location is beautiful, with amazing views of the surrounding Trulli and Locorotondo. Staying in a trullo was such a unique and memorable experience. The accommodation was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the family who runs the property were incredibly lovely, friendly and welcoming. You really feel the warmth of a family-owned place. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely come back!

Although the area is not the most picturesque, this masseriola is beautifully presented and finished to the highest of standards. Our room was a absolutely immaculate and the staff are very accommodating, our flight was delayed meaning we didn’t arrive until we’ll past midnight but this did not matter, the owner was still there to great us and show us to our room. We are returning in June for a few nights and this will be the perfect base for a few days discovering Puglia.

We arrived by train and the hotel was easy to find walking up from the train station. It is set in a lovely garden with an outdoor swimming pool, which although cold was very refreshing. We used this hotel as we were attending a wedding up the road at villa San Martina. It's a 5 min taxi ride to the Villa if you need to do it and the hotel are happy to arrange this but the pricing is a bit odd, varies and it stacks up if you are back and forwards (in 3 days it was over €100 for us). That said the hotel is convenient for the centre of Maritna Franca (about 20 mins walk) and the old town is absolutely lovely!
