"Fantastic location to the train station and the Royal Mile. Room was great - just needs more lighting (ceiling light). "

"We couldn’t have picked a more conveniently located hotel. The Airlink bus pickup/ drop off was a few short blocks away as well as Waverly Station. The first stop for the Hop on/Hop off tour was directly across from the hotel. There were several great restaurants within easy walking distance. If you like Italian food don’t miss Mamma Roma. Another recommendation is Maker’s Mash! We enjoyed our breakfast in Elliot’s. The staff was very friendly. There was a cold buffet consisting of assorted cereals, fruits, cheeses, meats, yogurts and croissants, and on several days they had a hot buffet consisting of a traditional British breakfast. In addition to the buffet you were given an extensive menu to order from. We enjoyed the Eggs Benedict both traditional and Florentine, porridge, waffles and omelets. You can also ask for crispy bacon (American style). The shower was spacious and the water got hot immediately. The beds were extremely comfortable. We highly recommend the Apex Waterloo hotel! "
