"Rooms can be quite far from reception and if you are on the first or second floor , there is no lift for lugguages. Breakfast is served until 10am but at 9.30 they start taking away cutlery and glasses while you are still sitting. Quite annoying if you are just enjoying your coffee. Breakfast is below average, porridge not edible , scrambler eggs poor"

"Easy access from city centre, parking within property boundary. Situated to the west of the city so easy to head out to Loch Ness, Fort William and the west. Host was welcoming and helpful and everything was well laid out, from the bedroom (and sitting room extension) to the breakfast area lined with books to suit any reader! "

"Stayed at Dunain Croy farm house with some friends for a 60th birthday getaway. The house is so welcoming, comfortable and in an idyllic setting. We loved the cosy evenings with the log burner lit and toasting marshmallows around the fire pit in the garden. The house is right on the canal and surrounded by fields and trees. We were visited by deer and pheasants and even by the Aurora on our last night. The house had plenty of space and all mod cons. You may want to have a car but even without one we managed to get everywhere we planned to by walking along the canal or a short taxi ride (incl a Loch Ness trip and visit to Urquhart Castle and a good ten mile yomp on the nearby forest tracks. Fabulous break."

"TravelNess Apartment was absolute perfection. It was incredibly clean, spacious, comfortable. We stayed over the Christmas/New Year holiday and the apartment was nicely decorated for the occasion. It was warm inside when we opened the door. The bedding was very comfortable. The two bathrooms were spacious & perfect for a large family. We were very grateful for the heated clothes drying rack so we could wash & dry our clothes quickly. The breakfast provided was perfect for a quick morning- the kids loved trying all the different jam flavors. We would absolutely stay here again. Loved it! "
