"This place is a real gem. Double room at rear of Inn away from main road, Bed very comfortable - lovely bedding. Bathroom very good/clean - would benefit from somewhere to put down toiletry bags etc. beautiful huge white fluffy towels provided. "Lovely location in the middle of the beautiful Shropshire countryside, ideal for touring (which is what I was doing). Large pub with extensive menu and large garden. They even had a family fun event taking place in the glorious sunshine. Breakfast cooked to order - excellent. Would stay again if I ever venture that way again."

"A friendly welcome to the property. Although nowhere in the village to eat in the evening, we were recommended a restaurant 5 minute drive away in Corwen. Straightforward continental breakfast in the morning available. As the pub shut at 10pm, there was no late night noise so enjoyed a good night's sleep. A great base for exploring the area."
