The bed was the epitome of comfort, guaranteeing a good night's sleep after each exciting day. We'll definitely be coming back. The food was nothing short of amazing, with the Sunday carvery being a highlight – it's a hit with the locals too, so a tip for future guests: make sure to book in advance. Overall, a 10/10 experience, easily one of the best places I've stayed at."

"Loved it. Room was adequate (once you’ve got used to all the creaks and bumps). This is a 16th century building in all its glory. Food was plentiful, well cooked and hot. Although our room over looked an island there was no problem with road noise. There was plenty of parking front and rear. Cannot sing it’s praises enough, in fact we’ll be going back just as soon as we can. Loved it!"

"I have read some of the reviews and sometimes wonder what people expect. We stayed in a two bedroom classic bungalow and was impressed with the space and fittings of our accommodation. There is some room for improvement if critical and is not really worth mentioning here. We did not use any of the facilities onsite but we received a warm welcome on arrival and were very accommodating. We could see the pool and had a look at the small gym both looked looked good. "This hotel is a right little gem in the heart of Barmouth. It’s such an easy review as everything was perfect and I would come back to Barmouth just to stay here. Staff so pleasant and welcoming and the room was wanting for nothing. We didn’t eat here but that’s something to look forward to next time. "
