"We absolutely loved our stay at the Royston. We both opted in for the 3 course dinner and the food was excellent. Worth staying in a wet Welsh evening. We really appreciated how as a dog friendly establishment they cater for our dog. Treats in a room and lots of fuss. Lovely small touches like fresh homemade cookies in the room , great full cooked fry up in the morning. Great sized room , with en suite . "

"Fantastic stay, cottage was beautiful, warm and cosy and the wood fired hot tub was amazing. Host has thought of everything and there are numerous nice touches in the cottage including little torches for the night. No kitchen facilités but plates and cutlery provided so you can get a takeaway and eat it in comfort. Would definitely stay here again "

"accommodation was lovely and clean. Breakfast was really good. Only one negative but in no way reflection on the hotel our room was on the high street right next to the town clock, so heard the chimes on the hour every hour. Hotel great location for visiting the dams."
