The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Casa Parcha

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful tent with comfortable bed!"

Hacienda Elena Paraiso Tropical

8/10 Good

"The property was beautiful. Gated area which needed a key to get in and out of the property. All doors and windows lock from the inside which helps with safety and security. Only downside, there were a lot of dead bugs. Everywhere. And I know what you’re thinking “it’s in the middle of the mountains, there’s gonna be bugs” but if they had cleaned before we got there, there would be no bugs. Also a lot of dust. During the night time, it gets creepy. Super dark, not enough lighting on the whole property and you can hear things on the roof. No cleaning supplies (paper towels, hand soap, etc) which kind of sucked for cleaning up small things. Do not leave food out!!! You will find yourself waking up to bugs everywhere. Other than that, it was amazing, peaceful and such a beautiful view of the mountains. Would recommend going with a larger group cause it can get creepy at night with just 2 people."

OCEAN VIEW VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL ,STEPS FROM SECLUDED BEACH, GATED COMMUNITY!

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely stunning home and an amazing location. We traveled here as a family with grown adult children and had absolutely wonderful day. The house is just like the photos if not even better there was a starfruit tree in the backyard and the fruit was delicious. The air-conditioning worked great and the screens really helped in the kitchen area with fans to keep the mosquitoes away. The only thing I would say is the check-in code to get through the gate and the contact information is wrong. The host said they sent instructions separately, but I did not receive them and they did not check in with me through the app to make sure I received them and unfortunately the phone number on the app did not work. When we arrived at around 9 PM at night, we could not get through the gate. Fortunately, the person that was on the phone number on the Vrbo app. Instructions did answer and we eventually were able to get through. So I would just say simply be sure that you have your accurate check-in instructions and check in with the host and hopefully they will update their phone number on the appThere was a scheduled maintenance with electricity, and the whole neighborhood had no electricity for the day. The house has a really great generator unfortunately it does trip easily and so I would also make sure the host tells you how to get the generator running again because that’s very simple, but unfortunately, we had to wait quite a while for the maid to come and show us how to get it goin"

Casa Boni Guest House, Vista única al lago de Carite.

10/10 Excellent

"Casa Boni was so peaceful and came with a beautiful view! The sounds of the Coquis at night were so calming and helped put our family to sleep - and the roosters in the morning were like clockwork and sounded much better than an alarm clock LOL! The access to the lake was a wonderful 5-minute walk leading to another amazing view. The neighbors were so friendly and so were their pups Poncho and Pancha (Pancha greeted us every morning and evening, so sweet!). Our host was so kind and was able to be reached with no issues and check-in was so simple! The only downside I would say was that there is no dryer, so you’ll need to be creative and timely when planning your clothes washing to give them time to air dry - but watch out, the rain sometimes sneaks through and gives a short, but beautiful downpour here and there, so watch if your clothes are out! :). Overall our family enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back!"

OCEAN VIEW VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL, STEPS FROM SECLUDED BEACH, GATED COMMUNITY!

10/10 Excellent

"probably the best vacation my family and i have ever taken and a big part of it was this beautiful property. We fell in love with the views, the space and the location ! Elizabeth was very helpful and prompt with any questions we had. Definitely will be back ! The gated community made it feel safe and secluded. Washer and dryer were a huge plus."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Lizas?

The best area to stay in Lizas is the Condado district, known for its beautiful beaches and upscale amenities.

Condado is a sophisticated beachfront neighbourhood, running along Ashford Avenue, which is lined with luxury hotels, high-end boutiques, and fine dining restaurants. It's very pedestrian-friendly, with easy access to the ocean and a lively option, particularly in the evenings.

Couples looking for a romantic getaway will find Condado particularly appealing. You can enjoy strolls along the beach, indulge in exquisite meals with ocean views, and explore the designer shops. The district also offers opportunities for watersports and relaxation by the sea.

For those seeking a relaxing holiday with convenient access to quality amenities, Condado is an excellent choice.

When is the best time to go to Lizas?

The best time to visit Lizas, Puerto Rico, is generally between December and May, when the weather is at its most pleasant.

This period avoids the peak of hurricane season and offers cooler temperatures and lower humidity. You can expect plenty of sunshine, making it ideal for exploring the beaches, hiking in the El Yunque National Forest, or simply enjoying the outdoor cafes.

For those looking for a quieter experience, late spring, particularly April and May, can be excellent. The crowds from the winter high season have thinned out, but the weather remains very good, and you might find slightly better value on accommodations. It's a great time for couples seeking a bit more tranquility.

If you're planning a trip around specific festivals or events, you'll want to check the local calendar.
