"Had to wait beyond 3pm for room to be available, courtesy drink should be offered when guests have to wait for their room to be made ready post 3pm. The room itself was clean and spacious. The shower pressure was great. Various power adapters provided were useful additions. TV should allow connection to guests streaming channels in 2026. Handy Lawson convenience store in the basement. Tried the Sky bar, had to queue, didn’t pay extra for the tower view and could see it from the bar counter anyway. Vehicle noise from the street on the 26th floor to me seemed to be louder than one should expect, the Fast and Furious seemed to be driving by each night. Good hotel in general just a few minor irritations, back there for a few more days at the end of vacation."

"Fantastic hotel in lovely area of Tokyo. Staff were very accommodating, the hotel had great amenities including a public bath and the hotel breakfast was a great spread. I enjoyed the abundance of information provided on the hotel room TV. "

"Decent breakfast, though not many tables to eat at. Good coffee/latte maker in the lounge. Rooms are small Japanese style. Beds were VERY hard! I could feel th springs coming through the bed I was in. Also, these rooms are only big enough for two adults and maybe one small bed sharing child. twin beds small!"

"We stayed in a few larger rooms before arriving at this hotel, so the 20sqm room felt smaller—but the layout was smart and made good use of the space. A nice touch was the daily change of PJs (yes, the hotel provides them, and they’re very comfortable!). Location: Great access to the train station directly from within the building, plus plenty of dining options nearby. Breakfast: Quite basic. Service: We met a few cleaners who were very kind and friendly. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay."

"This was the final hotel we stayed at in a month long trip and unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. We stayed 2 nights, and didn't take breakfast. The location is great. Perfect for access to Haneda airport, close to Tokyo Tower, metro stations nearby, and some great bars and restaurants around the hotel. The hotel has a pretty unique feel, the library and the books are a nice touch. The hotel organises a tea making demonstration which was nice, and they had organised walking trips to see the cherry blossom. But. We found the check-in process to be quite convoluted. The reception area is small and quite intimate, but there were so many people and cases lying around it just felt disorderly. And it all seemed very impersonal and lacking warmth. The room we were offered was genuinely awful. Right next to the elevator and the launderette (it shared a common wall). Not only could you hear the machines, but you could clearly hear 2 people having a conversation through the wall. And, when we opened the curtain, a view of a high-rise building right outside the window. Of course this is central Tokyo, but this was too intrusive. Credit to the manager, he changed the room for us. But it left a bad taste. On balance though, not great. Looking at all the other positive reviews, possibly we were just unlucky. We would ask for an even numbered room if we ever returned."
