Nice hotel - take your own biscuits though!
Clean, modern and comfortable room. In a great location for visiting Liverpool. Nice bar, lobby and restaurant area. Staff were helpful and friendly and we didn't have to wait to check in and out and when we needed to ask for help, they were quick to respond. However, when we arrived back to the room after our night out, we discovered that there were only 2 cups (there were 3 of us staying in a triple room) and biscuits were not provided! We went down to the reception desk and the night manager (who was very helpful and friendly, with an excellent sense of humour) instantly provided us with an extra cup (and some fresh milk!) but they weren't able to provide any biscuits which I thought would be standard for any hotel chain. Especially considering that we paid £210 for the room for 1 night (breakfast wasn't included). There was also no mini bar in the room, no vending machines and the hairdryer required you to press a button down for the whole time you need it to be switched on.
