"The location was very good especially for buses and trams. The flat was nothing special, in fact it was very poorly furnished, cheapest of furniture, no tissues, no paper towel, no cloths to wipe the counters or bathroom, two tiny containers of soap and shampoo for two people for an entire week. Give the minimum and pay the maximum. Also, asking for more money as an excuse to get access to the key box was the final straw. I will NEVER rent with Altido or Joivey again."

"Very convenient location with decently sized rooms, a very good breakfast and a remarkably comprehensive gym. Staff were excellent and helpful. Only issue is that some areas look a bit work but it seems a renovation is underway. Perhaps related to that, one of two main elevators was not in service but at least the elevator operating was large and fairly fast so no major queues."

"We stayed for 5 nights and we had the best time in Edinburgh Check-in/check-out experience was very smooth Staff friendliness and professionalism was excellent We had a little issue but was promptly resolved by the staff Special mention Vicky, thank you very much Room cleanliness and comfort was good with the best view in the world Housekeeping was very helpful Shannon who served us our drinks was very friendly Location was perfect with easy access to near enough everything Breakfast selection was great I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to both business travellers and tourists looking for a central location."
