"The cottage was lovely. It had everything you needed. The beach just 2 minutes down the road was brilliant. I took my dogs and they loved it. The people of Bacton were very friendly too"

"very beautiful old building with lots of character, in the heart of the city, surrounded with lovely pubs and wine bars and next to the stunning cathedral. Comfortable modern rooms and great restaurant. Polite helpful staff and great food. Was a bit disappointed that we were given two menus (one was a set menu) and told that the chef 'may' permit you to swap starters, only to be told by the waiter that took our order, I couldn't swap my starter! Only watch out is if you have difficulty walking, there are steps to different levels and the lift to the rooms is located up an upper level, reached by steps."
