"This was a great place for our large family group and Cristina was a big help. We did enjoy our stay here. Our biggest complaints were with the barking dog next door and with the confusing instructions about recycling and waste disposal. One day the trash was not picked up and there were no clearly labeled containers for all of the different types of trash."

"Our room was extremely clean and large by hotel standards. The staff was helpful with our luggage and assisted us with getting it into the elevator. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding village and being able to park in front of the hotel was a real plus. Right in front of the hotel there was a large park with lots of families playing there. Everyone was very friendly. We would recommend this hotel to other travelers."
Exclusive villa with private access to the sea

"Santa Flavia is memorable place with stunning views of the sea. It is well equiped and would suit large families or groups. The host, Alessandro, was great at communicating and responsive to any requests. The only downside was the entry road was closed for half of the time we were there restricting our abilibilty to leave the premesis by car..Alessanandro did offer to drive us anywere we wanted to go, which was very gracious and appreciated."
Home sweet home

"The home was extremely clean and photos represent the rooms and furnishings well. The hosts are friendly and met us when we arrived. They welcomed us by making us espressos then walked us through the home sharing the location of towels, linens, washing machine, etc. With that said, please note, this is a 3 story home with 2 of the 3 bedrooms (and 1 full bathroom) on the third floor. The other bedroom and full bath is on the second floor. While this posed no issues for us, if you had a person that has difficulty climbing stairs, it could be a challenge. Additionally the house is right off a couple busy streets. From the front door to the street the distance is separated by only a 14-16 inch sidewalk. This, provides ample noise from traffic and people outside talking. 2 bedrooms have A/C in the room, and one does not, which caused that room to be much warmer than any of the others. The listing said internet was available in all rooms. There was NO WiFi or Internet, which was disappointing. Cell service (utilizing USA based Verizon and AT&T) was fair, but we did experience some brief periods of limited, or no service. Communication responses from the host (before check in) was a bit slow but did come in time to know to call her when we were close to the home. Our driver made the call for us as we unfortunately don’t speak Italian and they don’t speak English. After that, I used Google Translate and we did fine (in person or through the VRBO app). "

"Cannot say enough good things about this property and the property manager who worked with us, Marcello. The house is so lovely with such gorgeous views of the water and surrounding hills that you almost don’t want to leave to visit other sights! Marcello went beyond helpfulness … warm and welcoming and helped us with an issue we encountered that had nothing to do with the VRBO and our stay there. Linens on beds were beautiful, lovely and thoughtful decor inside, including cactus plants. Kitchen had everything, including espresso pods and an espresso machine. Complimentary pastries and wine and large bottles of water (still and frizzante). Indeed, we did spend some of our 11 days there just enjoying the tranquility and views from the house. Recommend very highly. Need a car to get around but can use train to Palermo and everything is easily reached by car (we went as far east as Siracusa). Would LOVE to stay here again."
