Good two night stay
The room (suite) with basically two bedrooms and one shared bath was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only slight negative was that w/o AC it can be hot in the summertime before it cools off overnight (have to have windows wide open). We had a school group of boys making noise one floor below us until like 1030pm, but when I complained to the front desk they quickly took care of it. Hotel lobby and grounds clean and safe.

We had a little power blackout the last day (probably not the mistake of the Hotel). Price is accepable and good for families with kids. We did our own breakfast (buy nearby Allee Center food, not sure whether provided breakfast is okay for vegans). A little kitchen area would be nice. Staff are always friendly.

My group of 9 stayed at this hotel, 5 adults and 4 children with the intentions to have a family night bowling. We stayed Thursday and Friday night but were disappointed to find Thursday is league bowling with no room for us. The sign stated the alley would open at 6pm on Friday so our group planned to bowl and eat at the hotel after touring Berlin. We again were disappointed to find the alley and restaurant closed on Friday with only the option to order frozen pizza. We asked why the sign said the alley was open and the bartender informed us it was an old sign. Our group ended up walking to IKEA and eating supper there. I would not recommend this hotel if you have children with you or if you’re planning to use the bowling alley or eat.

Hotel is average which reflects the price point. Couldn’t sleep at night due to noise from room above which tells you about the sound insulation. Beds were very hard and pillows extremely soft which was not a nice combination. Overall the rooms felt a bit clinical.

Very nice hotel
The hotel is very nice, with a delicious breakfast and very good facilities. The only problem is that it's 20 minutes away from the downtown by car and the only option to get there is by tram. Although the station is close to the hotel, it can be difficult to take the tram in severe weather.

Comfortable as its name suggests
We were overall very satisfied with our stay in the hotel. We had not realised that it was not so central to Berlin and that does need some longer travel into and out of the city but that is interesting in itself. It gave us a very comfortable base to visit the city.

Stay was good not excellent. Breakfast was delicious and full of quantity except the last day of my stay. Lack of food on that day. Room was wide but there was no shutters for stopping the sun light especially early morning. Too much disturbance could not sleep better. Did not change the bed sheets daily or every second day. Dogs are allowed in the breakfast room. Why? I do not know? It is hygienically not allowed to bring Dog in to the food room.

Great Location.
Hotel is at very good location. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is delicious. Room is wide with attach bathroom, clean. Pillows are not very comfortable but okay. There is a problem on this room that is windows are not fully covered with a thick curtain. Day light comes in very early in the room which disturb the sleep.

Overall Quality Hotel
Quality of this hotel was excellent. The distance from the city center could easily be traversed via the tram which stops right over the road from the hotel. Would recommend to everyone and anyone.

Good Hotel in Berlin
This is a good functional hotel. Everything works fine. The staff are friendly and efficient and the hotel is clean. Although not situated in the centre of town, a 22 minute tram ride on the M6 into Alexander Platz leaves from a stop a few minutes walk away. Tickets can be bought at reception. The breakfast is plentiful with the German options (Ham, cheese, bread, jam, yougurt etc) being the best. There is also a small bar in reception that serves beer and wine. All in all, I would recommend the hotel and don't be put off by the distance from the City Centre.

Not a central hotel but right next to a tram stop so only 20 minutes from the center. The hotel staff were great and really friendly. Breakfast is included and offered a wide selection that had something for everyone. For £20 per person night could not find better value anywhere.

Nice place to stay
This hotel is a little ways out of the main tourist areas of Berlin, but it's right on the main tram lines and getting around was very easy. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but not fancy. Breakfast was great and the service very good. No A/C and traffic was a little noisy at night. There didn't seem to be many restaurants in the immediate area. There's an IKEA next door, though! Overall this was a very nice stay and we were comfortable and happy.

There were brackets for the old smoke detectors, but no new smoke detectors. Televisions were about 15 years old. Very sterile room. Front desk staff was helpful with nearby (10 min) restaurant and shopping options..Nothing within a short walk...must use subway/tram.

Average hotel out of city center
The hotel is located in a very "boring" area for those who plan to do sightseeing in Berlin instead of business. The area is full of car dealerships and the hotel itself does not offer much entertainment either. On the other hand, you can get conveniently to the city center by tram which takes roughly 30 minutes. The hotel is rather old which also applies to the room furniture and electronic appliances. Buffet breakfast was more or less OK but nothing special.

Staff were most helpful and extremely polite Could improve by having kettle, tea and coffee facilities in the room. We certainly got more than we expected and would stay there again. The hotel was very near the local Tram stop, enabling us to make great use of our 72 hour Berlin Travel Pass.

Hotel was close to two different tram stops which take you to Alexanderplatz and Potsdamnplatz which is where most things are located. The hotel staff wasn't that friendly. The staff was semi helpful. They helped us with our tram tickets, which they sell there but that was about it. Tram ride is about 20 mins to Alexanderplatz or you can drive which takes about 5 mins. Overall our stay was good. Bowling was cheap and pizza was good, but over priced.

This worked well for us with 2 small kids as we could not get a hotel downtown that had family rooms. This hotel had large rooms - with a room for us and one for the kids. In that way it was perfect. There isn't much there by the hotel though. No real restaurant for dinner in the hotel (just the bowling alley). Breakfast buffet was good. The hotel has lots of potential - if it was updated a bit it could be really nice. Still reasonable for the money.

Worst hotel ever!
Bad service, dirty rooms, no towels, all in all a experience I never want to have again. Recommend this only for bagpackers, who dont really care about these things... Only positive is good location, but I would prefer sleep on the beach instead...

The only good thing I have to say about the hotel is that the breakfast was good , free parking and room cleaned/bedsheet changed etc. everyday. Staff generally do not speak english some of them can manage though. 1996-ish sylish rooms equipped with fairly old furnitures/equipment (tube television e.g) The hotel was far away from everything and you could hardly reach anything by foot. The service was really bad and the price for internet access way too expensive. Our room was on the 7th floor and we had huge windows able to be opened fully, bit dangerous I would think keep them closed or you may accidently fall out ! I do not recommend this hotel for anyone except those who are planing on staying only one night absolute maximum.

20 min tram ride to alexanderplatz,berlin centre on tram m6,2 min walk from hotel,fantastic breakfast,great staff,warm clean comfortable rooms,bowling alley in hotel ,great,visit nearby,treptow park soviet memorial,and the soviet museum at karlshorst,where they signed the surrender agreement after the war ,as with all east germany and east berlin,lots and lots of concrete and flats,thats how they were housed in the communist areas of germany ,enjoy berlin
