"Nice old building, my room was in blocks behind the main building, noisy room from? And room next door. Saw 2 rats running around outside entrance to rooms, hence why cats on site."

"Lovely country property, with ample parking & grounds. The hotel appears to regularly cater for weddings as a venue, and as such is suitably equipped. Accessibility for those with restricted movement or chairs may be a little challenging, however the staff are very helpful and would certainly have solutions. It's an old manor house after all......... The room was large, tastefully period fitted & decorated, with ample space. Comfortable bed & mattress, clean and fragrant towels & sheets. As a converted barn room, there are still "residents" (spiders) which I personally have no issues with whatsoever, and some discreet cobwebs up high in the rafter ceiling area. Some may have an issue with this, however it is not a sign of being unclean ; it's the sign of a building which is 100's of years old ! Breakfast was good : Full English was ordered, and it was nicely presented & tasty, along with being just the right size. The coffee was plentiful (alas, for my tastes it was too mild. Have had far worse at more prestigious hotels : Having an option of stronger roasted coffee would have been excellent). A great value stay. Will definitely be using the venue in the future. Staff are lovely, the quiet tranquil setting & wildlife reminded me of home, and food is good. They also have excellent GF & vegetarian options on the menu."

Bell Hotel by Greene King Inns

"We had a great stay at the bell. It was perfect for what we needed, one night to explore Tewkesbury. We had a look around the town and then done a little pub crawl form the top at the black bear all they way down to the Indian restaurant called the Balti Palace (the food was great and the staff were excellent). The beds were extra comfy, we slept well and parking was easy just in the hotel/pub car park and they give you a card to put in your car so you dont have to pay."

"We stayed at the hotel for one night. Clean room and nice spaces bathroom. It's close by shops and Abbey which is beautiful. We had a peaceful sleep. Highly recommended this hotel to everyone"
