"One lift was out of order, meaning only one was operational. Hot water was off in the morning meaning a cold shower. Shampoo was empty. Air conditioning did not work meaning the room was 25degrees. Receptionist pointed me in the direction of the gym but didn’t mention I needed a gym pass from him. He looked disinterested. "

"We stayed for 1 night in November last year and were assured that the lighting in the bathrooms would be sorted out so decided to give this hotel another go as we did like it but the same problems again. The room doors slam, they do not slow close so doors banging keeping us awake, such a easy thing to sort out i don't understand why they were not slow closing doors.When you go to the toilet in the night all the bathroom lights turn on on a sensor waking the other guest up, would be ok if it was a night light then went off after a minute but it is all the bathroom lights then they don't turn off straight away, so between the banging doors and the lighting we got a terrible nights sleep. Such a shame as we come to Leeds often and did like the hotel, i contacted guest relations on returning home and was offered a discounted night stay but that isn't any help as you can not change every door in the hotel and put us in a room where the bathroom lighting doesn't switch on on it's own, so that will be a no, sorry."

"The hotel is very centrally located which makes it a great spot to stay. However the hotel is tired looking. The lifts are really grubby and need a refresh. the toliets downstairs also need some TLC. The staff couldn't have been nicer and I would stay again for the shear convenience. The beds were basic but comfortable. The pillows are too small and not comfortable. "

"Great location, various restaurants nearby. Parked at the Merrion centre, easy to get to and only £10 a day when you register your license plate through the hotel."

"Hotel itself was lovely and restaurant great. Plenty of breakfast choice. Well situated to walk into town centre as only a 2min walk and only 5mins from station. The reception staff all great and very helpful. Only problem we had were in the room itself and could be a one off in that specific room (305) where the plumbing on the toilet didn’t work properly and the television kept fuzzing over.Hopefully they are things that can be fixed as the rest of room and shower fab."
