The room was clean but the room and bathroom could do with some maintenance The water was comfortably hot. There was a lack of staff, I was looking for a bar to have a drink before dinner but could only find a sitting area. I sat for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my order but gave up and went to the dining room. This was more like a village hall and was cold- no cosy open fires like the website suggested. The dinner was okay but with one experienced waiter helped by two boys looking after two dining rooms was not enough. Breakfast was in yet another dining room and the buffet was adequate but no wow factor here. I did not have a car but there looked as though there was sufficient parking. I ordered a taxi and it arrived early so thaat worked well.

Excellent Hotel and great value for money.

We loved Balmoral Arms. It was beautiful and very quaint and lovely as were the staff! We especially had a fun time in the cozy pub with an excellent dinner there also. The staff were great! We enjoyed our meal in the lovely dining room for dinner and breakfasts. Great location for seeing Balmoral Castle. Parking was very convenient!
