"Communications clear & access to property easy. We were a party of 4 adults and 3 children. The house is spacious and well set out with all we needed for our 3 night stay. Ten minute walk to the beach and 15 minute walk in to town. We also visited the amazing aquarium in Boulogne-sur-Mer. Would recommend this lovely house and would definitely stay again. "We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage and premises were very nice with a lovely pool. Very convenient and near to other attractions, lovely walks and beaches. However, we are older visitors, one who has poor health and we needed a restful and peaceful stay. Although it was lovely to have children around in the other four cottages, there were a quite a lot, 11 in total and at the same time as ourselves which did impact on our daily plans. We would like to come again but not during school...

"Isabelle is an outstanding host. She made every effort to ensure that our visit was as comfortable as it could be. We had a minor issue in the property but she went above and beyond to fix it and make our holiday the memorable trip that it was. The beach was beatiful, it has great sand for building castles, waves for the kids to body board and even old ruins to explore (just beware of the broken glass). We had a wonderful holiday and I'd love to do it again. Thank you Isabelle."

"For a group of eight golfers this property is well located in a very nice area and comfortable. The proprietor and concierge were responsive, dealing with a couple of issues that arose promptly. The facilities are fit for purpose and the beds are comfortable. Bed linen, towels and all consumables represented an additional cost. Overall, this is a very nice property. With a little more focus on the needs of the occupants it could be made even better."

"Very helpful and friendly host. Saw that we had bikes on the back of the car and stored them overnight in his garage to make sure they were safe. Le Portel is a nice place with plenty of places to eat and of course a nice view of the sea. The view from the apartment was fantastic and the apartment itself was clean and comfortable. We used it as a stopover before travelling further south and can highly recommend it"
