"Was a brilliant hotel to base out of for day trips. Half an hour walk to the train station, or €11 by taxi. Loved that they have a gated car park and reception is 24 hours. Breakfast buffet was great. Room are clean, bit dated but did the job for somewhere to sleep. Beds were comfy!"

"Excellent restaurant, clean room and great staff. This must be the best hotel in Boulogne. Location is ideal, opposite the beach and Nausicaa. Secure parking is available in dedicated garages. The building is old but well maintained."

"Room was small but clean. There was space to put a suitcase by the bed but no room for a chair in the room. In our room (412) the wash basin was actually in the shower cubicle which was strange but OK apart from getting wet feet if someone had recently had a shower. Small details like tea and coffee were provided (and paper cups) but nothing to stir with. The WiFi code was not provided in the room so I went down to reception to ask whether there was wifi and the information was on the wall at reception but the receptionist hadn't mentioned it when we checked in. Parking was close by in an underground car park - getting in was slightly hairy in a biggish car but all was well. It felt fairly basic but it was very well located and our room was quiet, it was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good so we were satisfied!"

"Had a lovely stay with my partner and nearly one year old baby. Prior to arrival we had paid for parking and the "Baby kit". There was delayed communication about where to park, but it was resolved just in time before we reached Evancy. When we checked-in we immediately saw the "Baby kit" wasn't in the room so we had to go down to tell reception - luckily staff was on hand to sort it out quickly. Once we settled in, the stay was great! A note though, the Expedia listing for this property specifically mentions the absence of a lift - which is not true! There are two lifts serving the floors, including the floor for the car park."

"Great location and really friendly helpful staff. The room had a Jacuzzi style bath which was really nice after a long day! Only negative was the broken bathroom floor under the laminate which seemed like it was long overdue a repair."
