"Auberge de Cassagne is beautiful and serene. The staff are attentive and the property is beautiful and so well maintained. Our room was beautifully appointed. Simple and elegant. The beds are very comfortable and the linens so luxurious.
My only complaint is that the dining options are so limited. The restaurant is amazing but you don’t want haute cuisine every night. There are no other optionsi the area except for a take out pizza place. Both us and the people in the room next to us...
"When we checked in they said the AC was broken and was going to be fixed the next day. But it wasn't. At least they gave us a fan to use in the room and free breakfast. "

"Beautiful old hotel with a pleasant and helpful staff. A bit quirky with lots of different levels (and stairs) on rack floor.
While I really liked the hotel and the location, I have to mention one improvement they should make. The bath tub/shower did not have a safety mat in it and had a very high side to it. Without safety bars, it made getting in and out of the shower a very iffy situation (especially for an old gizzer like me."
"This hotel is very close to the centre of the historic town near the Papal Palace and the medieval bridge. About 15min from the central railway station."

My only complaint is that the dining options are so limited. The restaurant is amazing but you don’t want haute cuisine every night. There are no other optionsi the area except for a take out pizza place. Both us and the people in the room next to us chose to bring in pizza (the only option). It would be nice if the hotel had a restaurant with more “comfort food” options. "

"Room was clean and great for solo traveller. The location is a little far from city center, but is definitely walkable to city center and the train station. Location is quiet and safe, and there’s a grocery store right beside the building so very convenient. The shower was a bit small and nowhere to put the shower gel, so it was a bit difficult to place my things. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception is limited hours, but I didn’t find that to be a problem. Overall I would recommend! "

"Very very well located in the old city, quite close to the train/bus stations, but also a quick walk to the main squares and the Papal Palace. Staff was friendly, buffet breakfast was sufficient, and was an unexpectedly large and comfortable room. Would stay here again for sure."
