    Carpenter’s Cabin is a four-level, design-forward retreat set among the pines on 32 private wooded acres in Hocking Hills. Built for families and groups who want room to gather without feeling crowded, the cabin combines memorable architecture, playful spaces, and plenty of places to settle in.

    Inside, the cabin centers around its iconic sunken conversation pit, with two private queen suites, four bedrooms + a loft alcove bed, two media spaces, a loft library/workspace, seven beds, and three full bathrooms.

    Outside, you’ll find three covered decks, a private hot tub, fire pit, wooded trails and the new two-level Nest, with a dining deck below and elevated rope lounge tucked into the trees. The fourth-story Perch adds another tucked-away hangout with its saucer swing.

We took our 4 grandkiddo's and they fell in love with the cabin. My oldest Grandson and I took many walks to identify birds and the younger 3 lived in the hot tub. The playhouse was a hit. It was a great time.

We had the best trip to the Carpenter’s Cabin and are already looking forward to our next visit. The cabin was clean, well stocked and so much fun! Perfect place for kids and adults!

Great property

Property was great for privacy, owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The location was perfect for any hiking you'd want to do in hocking hills. The house was very clean, well stocked and just as described in the listing. Truly one of the best places we've stayed. We would definitely plan on coming back for another stay and would love to see in different seasons. Thanks for a great stay! We loved Hocking Hills!

We had a magnificent stay at this beautiful property! It looks like it’s out of a fairytale as you drive the last bit onto the actual property as you approach the house. The home is incredible and every little nook is turned into a creative space. Every detail has been thought out to perfection! Wonderful house!

This property has everything your extended family needs for adventure and relaxation. Three separate floors and three bathrooms, so everyone has some privacy. Wonderful outdoor spaces. Close to all of Hocking Hills attractions. Very attentive hosts who fulfilled our request in 30 minutes. Highly recommend!!

Amazing place!

Any description about the place listed is spot on! We went for a couple days with friends and loved every second! Not far from the caves and this place was so secluded and quiet. The kids loved the room/fort at the very top of the stairs. Everything was so comfy and nice/clean. Wish we stayed a couple days longer. The responses from the property owners was very quick and welcoming! Thank you!

The Perfect Quiet Getaway!

The Carpenters cabin provided everything we needed, and more, to slow down and spend quality time as a family! Our 13 year old (m) loved spending time outdoors exploring, while our 8 year old (f) enjoyed the coziness of the book loft!! During our short stay I most enjoyed the hammock chairs in the screened in porch on the 3rd floor, where I spent hours reading!!Scott & Jami were communicative before and during our stay, making for a stressfree experience! My families visit here fostered memories we will truly cherish forever!!!

We had our children, spouses and grandchildren for a 3 day stay. The cabin was perfect, the k8ds loved it. The grandchildren loved the conversation pit the decks and hot tub. The 4 year old said the plat house was her house and loved playing in it. The location is convenient and the cabin has all the relevent supplies we needed.

Cute cozy place!

Our stay was so lovely! The place is so quaint and clean and we didn’t want to leave the property much! The modern decor and furniture made the place feel sophisticated and had a homey feel. There was an issue with water pressure but the property manager was quick to respond and resolve the issue. There was also a manure / egg smell outside that would come and go but overall the place was perfect!

Spring Break

We had a group of 4 adults and 4 kids between 9-12 years old stay at the house. There was something for everyone to enjoy - every detail from the swings on the porch to the little nook with a bed upstairs was thoughtfully crafted and we used every little nook inside the house. Our girls had a blast in the bunk room in the basement with their own private living room. We enjoyed smores out at the fire pit with a dip in the hot tub afterwards. The house made for a fun and memorable spring break trip with friends! Hope to be back!
