The drive to the cabin was absolutely beautiful with the striated stone walls and lush trees. Had neighbors, but they weren’t close. We were very close to the Ash Cave hiking trail. Loved having the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Having the jacuzzi was a very nice and relaxing feature—make sure to bring flip flops because you have to walk around to the back of the cabin to enjoy it. Although we didn’t use it, the fire pit had firewood available upon our arrival. They have Starlink, so we all were able to stay connected as needed or wanted. The tap water has an earthy smell to it, so you may want to bring your own drinking water. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and everyone. ##### Shannon P. No one around, my kids loved running around and being loud and it didn't bother anyone. This made it relaxing for me I didn't have to tell them to tone it down. The deer coming around was cool. No wifi and no cell service was fine other than when trying to find directions. The kids could not stay out of the hot tub which was fine bc I felt the same way. Loved even with being in a forest area there were not issues with bugs attacking us. The kids loved the hot tub. I enjoyed cooking almost all our meals over the fire. We all enjoyed playing cards on the porch. It was so quiet and cozey. I loved that the kids could run around and with it being secluded if they ran in the drive way it was not something i had to worry about. The seanary was amazing all hours of the day. I did not like not having wifi though. I was trying to find directions and i could only do that while driving around Hocking hills in some spots. Amazing cliffs along the short road to the property and I found at least 3 waterfalls within a half mile of the cabin. The only downside was that there wasn’t a door to the back patio hot tub, which required walking around the cabin to access and a pest control company waking me up from a nap Saturday afternoon. The place is cute, inside and outside. We enjoyed the rock formations along the road in. The hot tub was fun even though the weather was sweltering hot during our stay. The location was very close to the hiking that we wanted to do. The beds, pillows and sheets were all very comfortable. The only negatives were some hairs left by the cleaners in bathroom sink and shower and someone needs to review the kitchenware. The microwave handle needs fixing or replacing and the cookware could use refreshing. If you plan on cooking anything more than a box of mac 'n cheese bring your own cookware. The property and location are beautiful and convenient to several hiking trails/waterfalls. When we arrived there was no power, but it was back on within 20 minutes. Our refrigerator died and the ac didn't work (got compensated). The property mgr sent maintenance over with a mini frig (ac needs fixed or replaced). When I booked, the listing said no wifi but when we arrived a starlink was in place (nice surprise). Lamp shades in living need replaced, they are stained/dirty.
