The hotel is location in a nice part of the city - in close proximity to a number of nice wine bars and other good places to eat. The room was nice and fairly quiet. One peculiarity with the hotel is the breakfast. There is no buffet. It is a la carte. There is a very short menu and you pick what you want and wait for it to be made. Then when you sign for the food they ask for a tip. I think it's bit rich to request this from hotel guests that are paying a fairly high rate for accomodation already. Other than this it was a pleasant stay.
This is a really good boutique hotel in the best area of Santiago to stay in. You will be a short walk from Barrio Lastarria and fun restaurants, cafes and nightlife. Our room view overlooked the park, and it was lovely. The best part is the included breakfast - the food is great, process to order is very good, and the servers very nice. The breakfast alone will save you quite a bit of trouble and money each day! The hotel staff was very kind for the most part - there was a mixup about our minibar but they resolved it. They were extra helpful on check-out with watching our bags and helping get us a car arranged for a MUCH better rate than we would have been able to get off the street on our own. Only complaints were the heater in the room wasn't working (didn't matter much, we were still comfortable) and the water in the shower did not get hot to my standards. Overall highly recommend.
"New Hotel in touristic neighborhood, Good Choice"
The Hotel is newly opened, we were the first customers ever in the restaurant over the 8th floor for the welcome drink.
The Hotel is located in a very good area, touristic and centrally located. Rooms are nice furnished and with comfy beds, Coffee and Mineral water are complimentary. The Bathroom is opened so it is a little in-discrete, some flood come from the shower but it is a detail easily to fix. Good amenities and room insonorization. The architecture is a plus for the Hotel, if you arrive in car, they will put you in a car elevator that can´t be for oversize cars. The restaurant hope the will get the alcohol permit soon, but looks like very nice. the buffet breakfast was good enough to start the day with good coffee, juice, muffins, omelet, etc., probably they will need curtains in that area cause the sun can be very hot. The staff was very kind and eager to help.
This hotel is located in a quaint neighborhood with several restaurants and outdoor cafes, only a short walk to downtown Santiago. The hotel offers limited parking and is tricky to find. Breakfast is included and staff is friendly.
Excellent place to stay! To enjoy the sights of Santiago, and still have a most pleasant stay, this location can't be beat. The apartment is clean, well-equipped, and looks out to the lovely green of Cerro Santa Lucia. It's near numerous cafés and restaurants and a large grocery store. Viviana was most helpful - arranged airport taxi, and a late checkout. Would definitely stay there again!
This place was truly wonderful. After a long flight to Chile, I found myself in a cozy apartment that felt like home. Lastarria 43 is right in the heart of an elegant and lively nighborhood, with restaurants and cafes that are open late into the night. Yet the rooms are so well-designed that I never felt disturbed by the noise. The staff was so helpful setting up taxi rides and other practicalities. I hope to stay with them again when I get another chance to visit Santiago!
