"Lovely staff who were friendly but professional. The room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The decor is a little tired but the place was clean. Generous breakfast included in my room rate. Lovely setting by the lakes. Had a good stay for two nights. "

"Staff were very helpful, we had an incident with my lipstick on our bedroom carpet, the staff were amazing at sorting this out - unfortunately the carpet was probably the thing which let this stay down, as it was a bit worse for wear. However, the rest of the room and hotel was very nice. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice of both cold and hot food. "

"Large spacious homely rooms,just a few bits,showing how tired the building is with couple of squeaky door hinges leading to the bathroom and the separate cloakroom.It was brilliant to find an iron and an ironing board for self service,which was very handy.Overall a lovely homely stay!"
